Position: Desk-Based Fibre Broadband Advisor
Location: Irlam, Manchester (M44 5AH) – Hybrid work may be available
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
About the Role
We are seeking a Fibre Broadband Advisor to join our Desk-Based Sales team to help us achieve ambitious customer acquisition targets in Greater Manchester and surrounding areas. You will play a key role in generating new business, providing broadband solutions, and building strong customer relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and wants to make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to customers to provide broadband solutions and support.
- Manage a mix of warm leads and cold calling to build a strong pipeline of potential customers.
- Meet daily sales targets (3 deals per day) and drive business growth.
- Provide expert advice on broadband packages and services.
- Upsell and cross-sell services to enhance customer satisfaction and business outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in CRM systems.
- Handle objections and rejections with a resilient and positive attitude.
- Promote LilaConnect with energy and enthusiasm, maintaining a professional and engaging approach.
- Respond to inbound customer queries via phone and email to generate sales opportunities.
Skills & Experience
- Proven background in meeting or exceeding sales targets in a direct outbound sales or contact center environment.
- Ability to develop and nurture a pipeline of customers.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt your approach to both warm and cold leads.
- Resilient in handling objections and rejections while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Ability to remain composed and patient with challenging customers.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM systems is a plus.
- A willingness to learn and improve, taking feedback and applying new techniques.
